Hi @MultilingualBronxite, since some countries will be changing their time zones in the next few weeks, what will be the base time zone for the meetups? Will it be the British Summer Time (BST) then, as the current schedule is based on GMT?

Hi Amirul! When Richard first created the schedules for all the stuff during the Conference in October, he based it on London time. At the end of the Conference, London went an hour back, but he didnât change the times of the events. He always based it on London time, so when London goes an hour ahead soon, the events will be based on the new London time so itâll be BST, like it was during the first days of last yearâs Conference.

Is the schedule still up to date? Iâve recently noticed that some of the meetings no longer take place. Would it be an idea to review it one by one with the person who suggested the meeting if itâs still valid?

Sadly, some of the creators of some of the meetings donât appear on the forum nor the Live Environment anymore, so itâs just looking at the archives of who they are, and then for those interested in some of the times, let us know what those times are and weâll look at the schedule

I just wanted to let you know that I have set up an area for the International Day of Multilingualism, which will take place on 27th March. There will be a programme again for those days. Could you please cancel the Arabic meetups on Monday and Thursday, and please, add a 2-hour Arabic session on Saturday at 10:30 AM EST (14:30 PM GMT).
Not sure what the time will look like after Daylight Saving Time for some countries. But I guess, we can always adjust if the time changes will be an issue.

Yeah, I could eliminate the Arabic weekly meetings, and Iâll add the 2 hour Arabic session for Saturday.

I was wondering what would people think to keep the Venus room as GMT instead of London time? Many of my friends who came to Venus room events said that they got confused because their country does not have Summer time at the same time as London.
I donât mind keeping things at a constant GMT because my friends live in every time zone!

On the spreadsheet, I did try to add both GMT and London time, to be clear that itâs the current time. Does that confuse some folks around here?

Hi MultilingualBronxite, I would like to add two times for Spanish/ English practice time in Venus Room. In the calendar there is room from 2:00am to 4:00 am Sunday London Time, which is 8:00PM to 10:00PM Saturday EST Time and i would love to add too from 22: 00 and 23:00 Saturday London Time which is 4:00PM to 6:00pm EST Time.
