Are there no French/Spanish conversations taking place today? I thought the French one would be taking place at 7 pm London time but I just checked and it doesn’t seem like it is.
I’m happy to participate in both a French and a Spanish conversation this evening if possible!
I don’t think so. I tried to join them before and no-one showed up. I assume they are no longer valid.
The Saturday French session tends to be more uncertain than the Sunday French session - I turned up for it a bit late and there was nobody there so I Ieft again but later found that other people had done the same, so it was unfortunate that we all turned up at different times and didn’t stick around long enough. However, the French sessions are still valid, but I haven’t seen anyone at the Spanish session that’s supposed to follow it for a while.
Hi! For everyone interested in joining the French practice, both the Sunday and Saturday practices are still going.
But @StevenT is right, the Saturday sessions are often empty depending on people’s schedules, but at times there could be 2-3 people.
I personally come more frequently on Sunday, and there are usually 2-4 of us.
Hope more people can join both sessions now

Hi Zeina! Thank you for letting me know about the Arabic meetings. However, during the Conference week, it looks like Tetsu may take over the karaoke sessions and host them in the Venus Room or another room. He may have karaoke every day, but at different times, just like last year. When I find out more about what he plans to do, I’ll let you know.

Hi Miguel, @MultilingualBronxite could you please help to put a 1-hour schedule for Indonesian on Fridays at 16.00 London time, right before the Karaoke?
Also, our Persian practice on Mondays at 12.00 is on pause at the moment. It would be great if you could help remove it for the time being, so that the slot could be used for other meetings.

Okay cool. Since we’re all still going to have the Earth Exchange Rooms, you can still send a Programme request to Richard as well, and he’ll add it to appear in the Programme for the next few weeks until the meetings are transferred to the Venus Room in December.

Hi Takashi! Sure. The Programme may list the old time, so you may have to also submit a new Programme request to Richard to modify the Korean meetings to show the new time on the Programme for the month of November.

Hi Miguel @MultilingualBronxite, hope you’re doing alright. I noticed from the Programme that starting from November 9th, all practices will be held at both Venus & Moon going forward.
Since some practices are split into 2 rooms (e.g French on Sundays) and some are no longer in Venus (e.g Chinese, Arabic, German), I was wondering if we should still refer to the Venus spreadsheet?
I don’t know which of the practices are still going ahead at the moment/these days, but is there still Italian at 7 pm CET today (and German at 2 pm CET)?
