Hi everyone!
I began learning Spanish as a teen and ended up studying for 8 years and spending a summer volunteering with Pronatura on sea turtle conservation efforts in Yucatan, MX. I’m fluent (though it is a struggle these days to keep it up) and working to incorporate the language more and more in my work as an city planner in the Chicago metro region. If you are a planner e hispanohablante, let’s talk!
That being said, I always had a plan to learn another language and the decision is Hindi/Urdu. I’m currently forcing myself not to launch into full-time Hindi student status while I’m working towards a professional certification and truly truly–I think I’m more motivated to take this exam so that I can start studying Hindi more so than passing the exam at this point.
