Hi everyone! I love the people and polyglot community–joining it has been so life-enriching. I am a fiction (and some non-fiction) writer, English professor/ESL teacher, opera singer, and (I guess) hyper-polyglot: native speaker of English and Tamil, also French, Italian, Spanish, German, and can understand a bit of Brazilian Portuguese. I can read a few different alphabets (Cyrillic, Bulgarian Cyrillic, some Nagari, Polish, Hungarian) though I can’t understand the languages! I’ve enjoyed singing in different languages and listening to music from around the world. Thanks to friends around the world, I’ve done homestays in several countries.
