Due to COVID, I find myself with a lot more time on my hands, and rethinking how to future proof my career choices (currently working in media). I’m considering getting more involved in language preservation, but I don’t know where to start! I do have a BA in linguistics, but until now it’s been mainly used for a hobby on the side.
Is anyone here involved in that space? Do you have any advice? I’m all ears! Thanks in advance
I am a little, in the Australian space … got connections. And might be able to get you connections in other areas of the world, if you tell me where your interest lies…
I live in the UK, so I’ve recently been reading up on Manx and Scots Gaelic. But most of my knowledge is around East Asian languages, Mandarin and Japanese are my strongest.
