Hello! I was wondering if there’s anyone else at the conference learning BSL? I look my Level 1 and started level 2 years ago, and I’m currently working through this pay what you can course https://www.british-sign.co.uk/shop/product/introducing-british-sign-language-enrolment-2020/. I’d love to find some other people to practice signing with. (I know there’s an ASL track but as a Brit, it doesn’t make sense for me to learn that rn)

I am an NZSL user, but it’s very close to BSL (I did my BSL Level 6 a few years ago) and super keen to help you practise!
There’s other BSL and BANZSL (British, Australian, NZ Sign) users here, so we should definitely get together.
Also, the conference organisers have recently changed the English Earth Practice Room to English AND Sign Languages, so we have a Zoom room we can meet in. Hope to see you there!
