Lila: in April 2018 I decided to begin Modern Greek lessons with a particular teacher, Savvas, a Greek old man who resides in Buenos Aires since at least forty years. I didn’t begin from scratch (I knew how to read fluently the Greek alphabet and I knew more or less 150 specific Greek words before starting lessons), and I took classes every week until December 2018, when I changed for Turkish. In March 2019 I switched back to Greek, and “o geros” prepared me for the international Greek language examination, A2 level, that I took two months later, on May 30th, at the Hellenic Foundation in Buenos Aires. But I failed, because my written production was too short. I hope to prepare the examination again this time at B1 level.
By the way, I don’t have any problems to arrange a Zoom meeting for everybody who wants to join us.
For me, it would be a great honor. (And sorry for every grammar mistake).

Γεια σου, Ματίας! Α, πολύ ενδιαφέρον! Δηλαδή σε 10 μήνες ήσουν έτοιμος για το Α2. Ο Σάββας πρέπει να είναι πολύ καλός δάσκαλος. 'Η ο μαθητής πολύ έξυπνος, χαχα.
Θα περιμένω ακόμη λίγο να δω αν ενδιαφέρεται κανένας άλλος και μπορούμε να κανονίσουμε κάτι μέσω Zoom. Εντωμεταξύ μπορείς να μου γράφεις στα ελληνικά. Μην αγχώνεσαι για τα λάθη. Εγώ θα σου γράφω στα ελληνικά και θα μεταφράζω για να κάνεις εξάσκηση.
