hello, i am from slovenia and looking for players in central europe. i already bought starter set and played few games on TTS but want to play in person. is there community in this region or mostly uk and usa? also any slovenian players here? would be nice to find people not only online
There are players in Central Europe — Germany and Czech Republic have the most organized presence I know of, Austria too. Slovenia specifically I can’t confirm from personal experience. Best bet is the official Discord — there’s a region channel where people post looking for local games and store events. A few European stores run demo nights, worth checking if any are within driving distance.
Worth knowing: Tabletop Simulator is how most community members outside population centers keep playing between in-person meets. It’s not a consolation prize, it’s genuinely the normal mode for players in lower-density regions. Most active players have at least a TTS setup ready.
Shipping note if you’re ordering more: from the EU warehouse delivery to Slovenia is usually reasonable but factor in a week or two buffer, one of my packs had a slight delay and a banner pole arrived bent. Customer service sorted it, but worth knowing.
